TSRTC employee leaders Ashwatthama Reddy and Raji Reddy, admitted to the Osmania General Hospital due to their fasts, are seeing dangerous dips in their vitals.
Hyderabad | 18th November 2019
TSRTC employee unions' JAC Convener Ashwatthama Reddy and co-convener Raji Reddy, who were arrested from their homes by the police after going on fasts, were admitted to the Osmania General Hospital today.

The JAC leaders continued their fasts even in the hospital. The doctors on duty examined them and released a health bulletin, stating that the health conditions of the leaders were deteriorating with troublingly low BP and sugar levels.

Resident Medical Officer Dr Rafi said that the leaders could suffer a heart attack at any time if they continued their fasts, and asked them to stop their hunger strikes and consume food immediately.

TJS president Kodandaram visited the hospital and enquired about the health condition of the leaders. He said that the Sadak Bandh scheduled for November 19 will be held as planned.

The RTC strike entered its 45th day today.
