The Railway Court at Secunderabad today dismissed a five-year-old case involving three TRS ministers and 11 others.
The case was lodged against 14 persons, including K Taraka Rama Rao, Nayani Narasimha Reddy and T Padma Rao (who are now ministers in the Telangana government), in 2011 on charges of stopping a train and damaging properties belonging to the union government near the Moulali railway station during the Telangana agitation.
The trio today appeared before the court.
The Railway Court, which heard the case for five years, today pronounced its judgment dismissing the case due to lack of evidence against the 14 accused after hearing the arguments of both the prosecution and the accused.
During the hearing of the case, the ministers attended the court whenever summoned.
