Postpone SI Recruitment Exams: Ravula
Telugu Desam Party leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy has demanded that the police Sub-Inspector recruitment exams be postponed until Clause 14F is deleted.
Senior Telangana leader belonging to the Telugu Desam Party Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy on Sunday alleged that the state government is playing with the lives of thousands of students of the region by going ahead with conducting recruitment examinations for the posts of police Sub-Inspectors without the controversial Clause 14F being deleted from the Presidential Order of 1975.
This clause facilitates the inclusion of Hyderabad in the Sixth Zone.
Talking to mediapersons after a delegation of Telugu Desam Telangana Forum members submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his Camp Office on the issue, Reddy criticized the state government's decision to go ahead with the SI recruitment test, thereby hitting the aspirations of Telangana aspirants.
"Though the government can solve the problem and postpone it, why it is going ahead in conducting the examination on August 13?" the TDP leader questioned.
"The government's stubborn attitude on going ahead with recruitment hints that it has conspired with the Seemandhra leaders to protect their interests," Reddy alleged.
Warning the state government of serious consequences if it goes ahead with the recruitment examinations, the TDP leader said his party's Telangana Forum members would intensify their agitation against the government until it gets the controversial Clause 14F deleted from the Presidential Order.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister under the leadership of forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao. (INN)
