Petrol Dealers Association president Narayana Prasad today announced that the body had decided to postpone its agitation at the instance of Civil Supplies Commissioner.
All the petrol pumps in both the Telugu states will thus work as usual on Sunday.
Speaking to mediapersons, Prasad said that the association would seek legal advice on the status quo order given by Civil Supplies Commissioner.
Prasad criticized the Centre for not evincing interest in solving their long-pending demands, pointing out that it had failed to fulfil its assurance to solve their 11 demands by December 31.
Stating that the Centre had called the petrol dealers for talks on May 17, he said that they would announce their plan of action if the talks remained inconclusive.
