Refuting the allegations that he was insulted by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during their visit to the Yadagirigutta temple yesterday, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka today clarified that he deliberately sat on a small stool, and that there was no discrimination or conspiracy involved.
Speaking at a program, the Deputy CM claimed that he was not a person who bowed down to anyone or killed his self-respect for anyone.
Criticising the BRS for the photo it circulated, Vikramarka said that he had sat on the stool for his own convenience.
The BRS and the BSP had criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for "insulting and discriminating against" Vikramarka at the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, making him sit on a low-height seat while the CM and the other two ministers there sat on higher pedestals during the rituals at the temple.
