Man Held For Sharing Wife's Nude Photos With Others

A man was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police, Cyberabad, for insulting the modesty of his wife.

Police said a man named Krishna Chaitanya had captured his wife's semi-nude and nude photos without her knowledge, and had shared the same with others through Skype.

According to a complaint filed by the housewife, a resident of Medchal district, she was married to Chaitanya. From the day of the wedding her husband used to harass her by taking pictures and videos without her consent by using his mobile. She got suspicious of his actions, especially since whenever she tried to see his mobile he used to obstruct her.

Some four days back she forcibly got hold of his mobile, and found vulgar chats over Skype that he was involved in in which he had shared videos of him and her having sex and of her bathing. She then lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime police.

Investigation revealed that the accused, a marketing executive in a private company, was habituated to watching porn, and to indulging in sex chat on various porn websites. Some 20 days back he met one Sriman in an online chatroom, and they exchanged their Skype account details for further chatting.

On June 11, the accused started chatting with Sriman via Skype. After exchanging their personal information, they both agreed to exchange their wives' semi-nude/nude photos through Skype. Hence the accused started sharing his wife's photos while bathing, sleeping, changing and having sex, and shared the same over Skype.

The case was investigated by P Ravinder Reddy, Inspector in the Cyber Crime PS, Cyberabad Commissionerate, along with SI K Srinivas.
