KCR's Elder Sister Vimala Bai Passes Away, Cremated

P Vimala Bai, a resident of Alwal and the second elder sister of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, died at a hospital today.

P Vimala Bai, a resident of Mangapuram near Alwal in Secunderabad, and the second elder sister of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, died at a hospital today.

She had been ailing for some time, and breathed her last on Wednesday morning according to family members.

On hearing the news of the death, the Chief Minister drove straight to her residence and extended his condolences to the family. He also consoled the family members of Vimala Bai.

Later the final rites of Vimala Bai were performed by her family members at a public cemetery in Tirumalagiri.

According to information, the Chief Minister has eight elder sisters, one elder brother and a younger sister, and Vimala Bai was one of them.

In an official communiqué, the Chief Minister expressed his grief over the passing away of his sister. He also expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
