The Commission has been appointed to inquire into the collapse of the Medigadda barrage and other irregularities during the execution of the Kaleshwaram project.
The Justice Chandra Ghosh Commission, which has been appointed by the Union and State governments to inquire into the collapse of the Medigadda barrage and other irregularities during the execution of the Kaleshwaram project, started its investigation today.
The commission will take many key aspects into consideration during the investigation, and will present its detailed report to both governments.
During an interaction with media persons, Justice Chandra Ghosh said that if necessary, former chief minister and BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao would also be summoned for the investigation.
He also said that in two or three days the commission would make an announcement on the collection of information and the opinions of the people on the project.
"Apart from this, the experts' opinions, and the NDSA and vigilance reports will also be taken into consideration in the investigation. The commission will also meet the engineers related to the project and collect information from them," Justice Ghosh said.
The Justice said that the investigation would include all the technical aspects, and that the report would be prepared in the stipulated period.
