Jana Sena Long March On Sand Crisis In Vizag On Nov 3
The march is aimed at highlighting the plight of lakhs of building workers suffering from the sand crisis created by the policies of the AP government.
The posters of the long march program proposed by Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan to be organized in Visakhapatnam on November 3 to highlight the hardships of the building workers who lost their livelihoods, will be released in every Assembly constituency.
Kalyan asked his party leaders to paste the posters in every Assembly constituency.
A meeting was held for preparation for the "Chalo Visakhapatnam" program at the Jana Sena party office in Hyderabad on Monday morning under the leadership of Jana Sena Party PAC chairman Nadendla Manohar and party general secretary Thota Chandrasekhar.
The meeting decided to disseminate information in every district about the reported distress and the plight of lakhs of building workers, many of who the leaders claimed were committing suicides unable to bear the financial problems due to the sand crisis created by the "lopsided" policies of the State government.
An action plan was prepared as a prelude to the Vizag long march, and the Jana Sena activists were asked to submit memoranda to the various district collectors on October 31.
The meeting also decided to organize protest rallies on the same day in the district headquarters with party cadre and building workers.
The objective of the program is to educate the people on the hardships of the building workers, builders and people who were building houses.
