The Leader of the Opposition in the Telangana Assembly K Jana Reddy on Saturday demanded that the State government immediately convene a session of the State Legislative Assembly.
Jana Reddy wrote separate letters to Governor E S L Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao demanding that an Assembly session be convened urgently to discuss issues like the loan waiver scheme for farmers, the fee reimbursement for students and the implementation of other welfare measures.
He said that the government should resolve these issues by debating them in the State Legislative Assembly. (INN)
