Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, suspended police constables A Naveen? of CAR Headquarters and Rahul of the Santosh ??Nagar ?police station for their misconduct.
The duo reportedly misbehaved with a civilian when they were in a drunken condition. A case was also registered in the Saidabad police station about the same.
The Commissioner ?said that the city police ?was committed to serving the ?common man, and that protecting his self-respect and dignity was very important. There would be zero tolerance towards any misconduct towards law-abiding citizens, he said.
The Commissioner appealed to all the officers in the city police to discharge their functions with a motto of service, and to not be rude and arrogant towards the public.
