Two men have been arrested in the act of attempting to cross the Indo-Nepal border from Raxaul town in Bihar on suspicion of involvement in the twin bomb blasts that occurred in
Dilsukhnagar on Thursday evening.
Immigration officials took them under arrest for irregularities in immigration paperwork, and handed them over to the police. The police confiscated a laptop, a driving Hyderabad licence, a camera, and a mobile phone from the two.
One of men has been identified as Mohammad Aadam of Hyderabad, while the other, Abdullah Umran Makran, identified himself as a travel agent of Somalian origin.
The laptop confiscated from the two reportedly contained close-up images of the Secunderabad Government Railway Police Station.
Meanwhile, the address provided on the driving licence of Mohd Adam, of a building named Syed Arcade in Mehdipatnam, was found to be fake. The owner of the building, when contacted by the media, said that the address was indeed his, but denied all knowledge of any person named Adam.
The suspects are currently being investigated for links to the bombings, for their attempts to illegaly flee from the country, and several other factors.
