Harish Rao Expresses Shock Over Realtor's Suicide
The BRS leader claimed that the real estate sector in Hyderabad had collapsed ever since the Congress took over the government.

BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao today expressed shock over the suicide of a realtor at Adibhatla in Hyderabad.
"The suicide of real estate businessman Venugopal Reddy in Kompally a couple of days back, and now Narasimha Goud's suicide in Adibhatla today are tragic. It is unfortunate that a series of suicides that started with farmers, weavers and auto-rickshaw drivers has now reached the real estate sector. The sin of the Congress' rule has become a curse on all sectors. Many families are deeply saddened with its misrule," he said.
Addressing CM Revanth Reddy, Rao said the CM's ill-conceived decisions on HYDRA, Musi, Pharma City and the Metro rail line had brought disaster to the real estate sector, and that it was shameful that the State government had not taken up any damage control measures even though several survey agencies had said that the real estate sector in Hyderabad had collapsed in the last one-and-a-half years.
"The CM is solely responsible for the suicides that are taking place in the real estate sector. The CM is also the State's municipal administration minister, and should introspect over what should be done without getting into political accusations," the BRS leader said.
He also demanded that the State government help Goud's family members who were in a state of grief after losing the head of the house.
