The Regional Passport Office has announced that passports will be issued to the Haj applicants as soon as their Police Clearance Report is received, so that they can submit their Haj applications for the Haj 2014 in time.
Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee's special officer, Prof S A Shukoor met the Deputy Passport Officer L Madan Kumar Reddy this afternoon and expressed his gratitude to the latter for making arrangements for issuing the passports on priority basis to the Haj applicants.
He informed the RPO that March 22 is the last date for the submission of the Haj applications, and therefore, it is necessary that the passports should be prepared as soon as the PC is received.
