Former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao today criticized the government over the food poisoning incident at Maganur Zilla Parishad High School in the Narayanpet district.
"Less than 100 days after 100 students fell ill due to food poisoning, another similar incident has occurred. This time, 30 students were admitted to the district hospital after complaining of vomiting and stomach pain," he said.
Rao said that it was unfortunate that despite multiple cases of food poisoning being reported in government schools and gurukuls across the State, resulting in the losses of lives, the government remained inactive. He lamented that the State government had failed to take preventive measures even after repeated protests by concerned parents.
