Labour Minister Danam Nagender on Wednesday strongly condemned the allegations levelled by former DGP V Dinesh Reddy against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Talking to reporters here, Danam said that Dinesh Reddy should be indebted to the CM who, he said, had appointed him as the DGP overlooking his seniority. Danam added that the DGP had, however, crossed the line because he was denied an extension as per rules.
He said, "Dinesh Reddy should have questioned his conscience before levelling baseless allegations against Kiran Kumar Reddy."
Danam dismissed all allegations levelled by the former DGP, and said that not only were they baseless, but also that they were aimed at bringing disrepute to the CM's position. (INN)
