Lone CPI MLA R Ravindra Kumar has demanded that the TRS government convene an Assembly session immediately to discuss public issues.
In a press note issued on Thursday, Kumar said that the TRS government had passed time with mere statements for the last one year.
The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had not even responded to the strikes of the municipal workers, NREGS employees, village helpers, Asha workers, and 104 and 108 workers for several weeks, he alleged.
The 3-acre land scheme for dalits was moving at a snail's pace, and the government had poured water on the hopes of the youth for new job opportunities, he added.
He also mentioned that KCR had forgotten about the double-bedroom house scheme for the homeless and the assurance of providing better facilities to the district hospitals as well.
And the promises on the regularisation of contract and outsourcing employees had gone down the drain, too, he added.
Kumar also wondered about the Chief Minister's encouragement of party defections and purchase of MLAs, and demanded that the government to convene an Assembly session immediately to discuss all these outstanding issues immediately. (NSS)
