Hyderabad | 22nd May 2021
In a disturbing incident, 500 doses of the Covid vaccine Covishield have gone missing from the Kondapur government hospital.

The incident came to light during an audit of the stocks of the vaccine.

Authorities of the hospital have lodged a complaint with the police concerned against the nurses and attenders of the hospital.

However, the hospital nurses and attenders facing the charges alleged that the superintendent of the hospital Dasarath had falsely indicted them.

They alleged that Dasarath had committed several irregularities in the administration of the vaccine, and that he had filed a false case against them to hide his mistakes.

The Additional Collector of Ranga Reddy district Prateek Jain said that an inquiry was underway in the issue under his supervision.

The Ranga Reddy district collector is also likely to visit the hospital.
