Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today received petitions from the public at the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri.
The CM patiently listened to the grievances of people from various walks of life, including the differently-abled, students and others, who had gathered in large numbers from across the State. He assured them that their issues and complaints would be addressed.
Before receiving the petitions, Naidu paid floral tributes to the portrait of Joshua on the occasion of the latter's birth anniversary.
A differently-abled woman named Thanneeru Samrajyam from Gorantla, Guntur town, shared her difficulties with Naidu. She explained that she had been receiving a pension under the differently-abled quota for a long time, but that after the YSRCP government came to power, her pension was discontinued on the grounds that her household had consumed over 300 units of electricity. She expressed her struggle to make ends meet and requested the CM to get her pension restored. Naidu expressed sympathy and promised to look into the issue at the earliest.
Leaders of the Hindu community from the Krishna Dharma Rakshana Samiti also met the CM. They requested the establishment of a gaushala near Mangalagiri to prevent the smuggling of unprotected cows along the Guntur-Vijayawada National Highway. The CM promised to look into the request.
On the occasion, many individuals contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Alluri Venkata Rao and Alluri Adinarayana from Thullur donated Rs 50,000 each, M Shyamala Rao and K Rajeshwari contributed Rs 25,000 each, and K Harika from Vizianagaram donated Rs 15,000. Naidu expressed his appreciation for their generosity.
