With only a few days left for the 45-day Budget Session of the AP Legislative Assembly to conclude, the state government is facing the ire of the opposition on the issue of conduct of the Assembly proceedings.
TDP chief and leader of the Opposition Chandrababu Naidu led the outburst, and said that MLAs are wasting time in the House. He said the conduct of legislators was questionable, and blamed the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker as well. He added that citizens' problems and other real issues were never discussed in the Assembly, and that instead, there were too many adjournments taking place.
Among those who joined the attack were PRP MLA V Geeta and CPM leader Julakanti Ranga Reddy. The latter said the ruling party ministers were only making provoking statements in the Assembly, and blaming the opposition for creating havoc.
