Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday, accused the state government of neglecting schemes meant for people's welfare.

Naidu blamed both the Centre and the state government's for their policies responsible for the rising prices of essential commodities.
He warned the government that the TDP would intensify its agitation against the power tariff hike if it fails to revoke its orders.

Expressing serious concern over the level of ground water touching rock bottom following indiscriminate sand mining in some parts of AP, he said that the government must take steps to tackle the shortage of drinking water in the summer in villages.
He also expressed concern over farmers losing lands in the name of Special Economic Zones.
Naidu also came down heavily on the state government for transferring ACB Additional Director Srinivasa Reddy to Customs Security, after bowing to the pressure of Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, who was allegedly involved in the liquor syndicate.
