Telugu Desam Party leader Varla Ramaiah on Saturday alleged that the Central Bureau Of Investigation has failed to conduct a proper probe into the Disproportionate Assets case of YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy.
Talking to reporters, Ramaiah said that the CBI has failed to probe the role of Rajya Sabha MP K V P Ramchandra Rao, who, he alleged, had helped Jagan amass wealth illegally.
He accused the CBI of completely ignoring KVP's role in Jagan's case.
Ramaiah also alleged that KVP was acting like a broker between 10 Janpath and Lotus Pond, and added that his current role could be the main reason that shielded him from the CBI's investigation. (INN)
