Bitter rivals politically but the best of pals at dinners. That is what people got to witness recently when Telangana Congress and TRS top honchos socialized with zest at a function.

At Telangana Government Whip Gampa Govardhan's daughter's wedding, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Finance Minister Etela Rajendar, and bitter TRS and KCR critics K Jana Reddy, Shabbir Ali and G Vivek of the Telangana Congress shared the same table to have dinner on Friday night.

There was banter, bonhomie, revelry and repartee at the function. The leaders and arch rivals were seen exchanging pleasantries and sharing jokes. This presented a rare sight to the people. It is not for nothing that dinner and diplomacy are tagged together.
