AP Copied Our Application: KTR Complains To Centre
The minister said the Andhra Pradesh government had copied the application form his government had designed for its "ease of doing business" initiative.
Telangana Industries and IT Minister K T Rama Rao today complained to Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that the Andhra Pradesh government had violated norms by copying the application form the Telangana government had designed as part of its "ease of doing business" initiative.
In a letter addressed to Sitharaman, KTR accused some States of making a mockery of democracy for rising in the ranks and bringing a bad name to the Centre by failing to follow the stipulated norms.
"Our online application form has been copied by the AP government. The Telangana government uses a unique reference number for online applications meant for seeking permissions for setting up industrial units. Though the AP government does not have that policy, it has used the words such as 'submission reference number' in their application, which shows that it is copying our application," he alleged.
KTR urged the Centre to take serious steps against the violation and prevent recurrence of the same.
