Welspun Flooring's Manufacturing Facility In State
The company is reportedly set to invest about Rs 2,000 crore in the facility in Shahbad mandal, and provide employment to the local youth.

Welspun Flooring Limited, a fully integrated and independent flooring vertical of the USD 2.7 billion Welspun group, launched a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad today.
K T Rama Rao, Telangana minister for MA&UD, Industries and IT&C, inaugurated the facility.
Adjacent to this facility, the Welspun group is also establishing a manufacturing plant for another business, advanced textiles.
Rao laid the foundation stone for this unit, too, which will commence its functioning soon.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that the Gujarat-based company was set to invest about Rs 2,000 crore in the facility, and that would boost the economy and provide employment opportunities to the local youth in Shahbad mandal where the facility is located.
He also promised to develop the facilities and infrastructure in the mandal to help the facility. An industrial cluster would be developed in about 3,600 acres in the area which would get the best of facilities including wide roads and transport connectivity, he said, and added that other four companies had agreed to invest in this cluster.
