The Under-19 Rajiv Gandhi All India Cricket Championship will start from January 7, 2026, in Hyderabad, with matches scheduled till January 10.
The championship will feature teams from four countries and 10 States. Matches will be played at L B Stadium, the Vijay Anand Ground and the Amberpet Water Works Ground. The finals will be held at L B Stadium, where Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to attend as the chief guest and present the prizes.
The participating teams are Sri Lanka, Dubai, Malaysia, Nepal, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Chennai, Bihar, Vidarbha, Karnataka, Bengaluru, Telangana, the Cricket Federation of India and Hyderabad.
Cricket Federation of Hyderabad Chairman and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao said that the tournament had been held for the past 18 years in memory of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, and that the Cricket Federation of India organised championships in three age categories: Under-19 in Hyderabad, Under-17 in Chandigarh and Under-15 in Chennai.
