"Many TRS party leaders except Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's close family members are in touch with me. There will be huge migrations from the TRS to the Congress party," TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said.
He also said that the BJP had no strength in Telangana, and that the party was day-dreaming that it would get the Hindu vote in the state.
In a chit-chat with journalists at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy said that the state intelligence was telling the Chief Minister only what the latter wanted to hear. The ministers and MLAs did not have the courage to inform the ground realities to the CM.
"The farmers are participating in agitations voluntarily. The government, which stated that the persons who participated in the agitations were rowdies and not farmers, should make their names public," he demanded, and asked the TRS why its leaders were entering into fracases with the farmers in market yards if they indeed loved the farmers so much. Arresting the farmers was an atrocious act, and the Chief Minister was trying to transforming Telangana into a police state, he claimed.
He also opined that the BJP, which had succeeded in north India, would not taste the same in South India as Hindus and Muslims in Telangana were living in harmony.
He informed that he would make a PowerPoint presentation on the Kaleswaram project very soon, and alleged that the projects were being undertaken only for "commissions" for the ruling party.
