The Telangana Government has reportedly accepted the recommendations made by State Minorities Commission on providing relief to the families of those killed due to police firing during the communal riots in Kishanbagh recently.
The Commission has recommended a government job and a house site among other benefits for the families of those killed due to police firing.
It has also asked for Rs 2 lakhs in compensation for the injured persons.
The State government has reportedly approved the recommendations, and informed the Commission about the same.
Meanwhile, Commission Chairman Abid Rasool Khan has informed that a Commission was being appointed to study the report submitted by the Cyberabad Police on the Kishanbagh violence.
He informed that Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand had assured measures to ensure peace in the area by establishing a police station and a peace committee of elders. (INN)
