Congress Refutes Reports Of Likely Defections Of MLAs

Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka refuted the reports of likely defections of Congress MLAs into the TRS, and said none of his MLAs was even mulling that.
Hyderabad | 31st January 2019
Telangana Congress Legislative Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka refuted the reports of likely defections of his party MLAs into the TRS, and said that none of the Congress MLAs was even mulling that.

Speaking to the media today, Mallu alleged that the reports were a mind game being played by the TRS leaders.

"Let me make it clear that no MLA from our party will cross the fence and join the TRS. The ruling party is trying to create confusion among the people of the state by deliberately planting such stories in a section of the media," he said.

The CLP leader also said that the entire CLP remained united and would fight against the "anti-people" policies of the state government. He said that the Congress MLAs' priority would be to see that all the people's problems were solved by the government.
