Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday promised to release the fee reimbursement dues to all private educational institutions in Telangana on time if his party came to power after the Assembly elections.
He also promised to provide a Rs 5-lakh life insurance cover to each of the employees of the various private educational institutions.
Speaking at an interactive session with the All KG-To-PG Private Educational Institutions Joint Action Committee leaders in Telangana, Gandhi alleged that the KCR-led TRS government was mercilessly harassing the managements of all the private educational institutions in the state. He promised to stand by the managements of all sich institutions "after coming to power in the state".
Gandhi also alleged that KCR had cheated the farmers by promising loan waivers but not delivering on time, and that Modi had looted Rs 13,000 crores of public money and handed it to his friend Anil Ambani through the Rafale deal, and asked the JAC to enable the Congress to come to power in the state.
TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR was scared of the Congress after the extension of support by the KG-To-PG JAC to the Congress. He urged the JAC leaders to motivate others to vote for the Congress in the elections.
TJS president M Kodandaram was also present, and said that time had come for the people to defeat the "feudal leader" KCR and teach his TRS a lesson in the Assembly elections.
