Heavy Rains In Telangana, People In Low-Lying Areas Alerted
The highest rainfall of 14 centimetres was registered at Itchoda in Adilabad district.

Heavy rains are lashing out across Telangana. And according to the weather department, rains will continue tomorrow too. In this context, officials have suggested that the people of low-lying areas stay alert, and asked them to come out only in emergencies.
Light to moderate rains occurred in Hyderabad from 11 am today. But the districts saw greater rainfall. Rain with gales occurred in Adilabad district. The highest rainfall of 14 centimetres was registered at Itchoda. Indravelli and Jainadh mandals received 13 centimetres of rainfall each. The Pochera and Kuntala falls looked beautiful with the rain waters.
A lot of water is reaching Penganga on Komarambheem Asifabad district due to heavy rains in the upper areas. The Lonavelli, Parigama, Tonekinni and Venkatraopet areas will be inundated in water due to heavy rains, officials warned.
It's also raining heavily across the erstwhile Khammam district. Khammam, Khammam Rural, Karepalli mandal, Kamepalli, Sathupalli, Illandu, Manuguru, Burgampadu, Raghunathapalem and Madhira mandals are receiving moderate rains, but low-lying areas are already seeing knee-high water levels resulting in the people facing severe hardships. Rain waters have also hit the Khammam Third Town colonies, and Mayuri Koodali and the Bus Stand Centre have become water-logged.
