Gopannapally Lands Illegalities: Revanth Reddy Says He Was Six Then

Malkajgiri MP and Congress leader A Revanth Reddy today reacted on the allegations against him of encroachment of Gopannapally lands.
Hyderabad | 26th February 2020
Malkajgiri MP and Congress leader A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday reacted on the allegations against him of encroachment of Gopannapally lands.

Responding to the allegations that he had encroached upon some Gopannapally lands illegally, he said that he was just six years old when the said irregularities took place in 1978.

He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was targeting him with such inane accusations as he was speaking on behalf of the people of the state, and that the rulers of the state were indulging in petty politics such as this to get him to cancel his "Patnam Ghosha" program. The TRS leaders were hoping that he would succumb to their pressure if legal cases were filed against his lands, but he would continue to fight against the CM even at the cost of losing all his properties, he said.

He also vowed to expose the "irregularities" of minister K T Rama Rao and industrialist Rameswara Rao after completion of the ongoing Parliament session.
