Displeased with complaints against him by various TRS leaders, senior leader Dharmapuri Srinivas is all set to quit the ruling party and rejoin his parent Congress in the near future.
According to informed sources, with the ruling party leaders being unable to work with him and complaining to TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, the Rajya Sabha member is annoyed and unhappy, and on his birthday, after cutting a cake at Nizamabad and celebrating the event with his followers and relatives, will announce his future action plan.
It is said that the Congress has opened its doors for Srinivas, who is noted as a successful PCC chief who brought the party to power twice. He is getting ready to return "home" next month, most probably on October 11.
Srinivas is expected to reveal his mind and his decision to quit the ruling party in the first week of October, after holding talks with leaders close to him.
