The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly is scheduled to hold a special session on January 20 to discuss the recommendations of the G N Rao Committee and the Boston Consulting Group over the three-capital proposal along with the suggestions in the Sivaramakrishnan Committee report, and the decentralization of power in AP.
Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will discuss the decentralization of development in the State, and the three-capital proposal, with all the key leaders in the Assembly.
A cabinet meeting will be held earlier on January 18.
After the special session on January 20, the final decision on the Andhra Pradesh capital will be announced.
