We said "for light-hearted reasons that don't really hurt anybody". Your post did not at all appear like it was light-hearted - it was castigating, like this one is, too. Secondly, the person in question follows these forums, and is quite likely to be hurt at the tone of expression.

As pertains your statement where you mentioned all disagreements about a review should take place on that page itself, I must bring to your notice a certain alter-ego of mine, juanrodrigo, who mentioned that the movies were bad. You deleted those too.

You know the language this alter-ego used. Something like "the reviewer must have been fantasizing about Brad Pitt bare-chested", and more such stuff. That was a strong personal attack.



Our reviews and profiles aren't sacrosanct, and visitors can say whatever they wish on the same page where people read our reviews, and can make their points emphatically. We just believe in opinions being objective, and not personal or vitriolic.



In the next version of fullhyd.com to be on in 2 months, we are making all editorial opinions secondary and user ratings primary, so as to further make fullhyd.com a reflection of the local opinion.

jasz, i read your comments to the review on kill bill, and to 2 other reviews the same person had written. your comments were very acerbic (and not very well-written) personal attacks, and this makes it impossible to take them seriously. they were sexist, too, may i point out. and that was offensive. if you don't think a 'two-bit female' can review films as well as, say, you would, you're welcome to not read what she's written. and if you don't like a review, don't diss the reviewer. say why you disagree, not what you think of her.
