No offence, but which planet do these guys come from anyway? 'Yes, they can'? Really, why did these spammers put in so much effort anyway?

A woman has the prerogative to change her mind----but not so viciously.

But for what it was worth, I hope she and your brother are still going strong.

Interesting sequence of incidents from you both..

But do you think that this is the way of life..I mean i'd like to see these as odd occurances..BTW I'm a born optimist!!

tell me what percentage of guys / girls that you have been closely associated made your life bitter..?

If the answer is all - something is wrong with you :D !

If the answer is some - therez a scope of further discussions!!

If the answer is none - this board should be closed long before

For the record, Im a true optimist too :) The glass is always half full.

Of the relationships Ive had, there are 2 guys I have daggers for. Now Im a very forgiving and understanding person, but the things theyve done and the things theyve tried to do almost gave me a nervous breakdown. They made my life extremely bitter.

But anything that doesnt kill you, only makes you stronger. I firmly believe in that. And Ive moved on since then.

I havent forgiven either of them, and I dont think I ever will. Although I believe that you shouldnt hold a grudge for too long. Those 2 will have to be exceptions to that rule.

I'm sorry for that..but as you said it made you smarter, stronger and probably wiser..Guess the world should not suffer 'coz of a coupla quacks..

CAD, yeah I did suffer cuz of them. But theyre history. I havent forgiven them, but Ive definitely forgotten them. I mean, I dont think about them and depress myself over what happened in my past. I moved on a long time ago.

Lessons learned on the way..I'm sure your past would'nt stand in between your current / future relationships..Or do they..

Next time you talk to someone or get close to someone..would doubt him to be a ditcher..!!?? i'm sure u'd be careful....but..

Yeah, well you learn some lessons when something bad happens. My past hasnt effected me nagatively in my relationships.

And those 2 guys didnt ditch me, I dumped them cuz of whatever had happened.

Oops... Guess I clicked the wrong button there

I tend to think that every relationship teaches you something or the other...

It really does..good or bad...

They might not probably affect your basic nature..but they do present you with options as life progresses...

LOL! You didnt hit a wrong button! I just wanted you to know that I wasnt heartbroken or anything because those guys decided to break up with me.

In any relationship Ive had, I was usually the one to call it off......for whatever reason.

Calling it off is painful...isn't it? the duration varies...but the pain is there in any relation breaking up.

A break up does pull at your heart-strings, but its for the greater good. If you think that way, its easier for you to get over it and move on.

Seriously, theres no sense in being with someone you are not completely satisfied with.

i had enuf heart-tugging breakups to last a life time...:) but in my case thankfully i always parted as a friend...no bad memories. the moment of break up is always painful but u have to move on quickly and realise that 'talaab mein aur bhi machliyaan hai'!

after each breakup, i still remained friends with the girls n even got invited to some of their weddings...where they always introduced me to their hubbies as a 'special friend' (and i'll usually be trying hard not to laff at the poor guy!)

oh boy...those were the golden days...*slips into a dreamy trance*

My dictionary do refer to the word 'compormise' as long it doesn't mean you getting away from the real you..its a thin line..but still..there is that line!!

As CAD says since you have so much of options gues you can alwayz turn around and say why shud I settle for less!!??

I dont call the shots. Im not on any power trip. Its just that when things took an ugly turn in my relationships, I had to put my foot down. Im not a typical bhartiya nari who'll take any crap from her man. I know I can stand up to them and fight for whats right. And I did. And Im a much happier and stronger person today.
