Phone number prefix of Hyderabad

I am an NRI - please inform me how many mobile phone companies are operating in Hyderabad. Which company phones are this – 55355615? Can I send SMS on this? If yes how? Which mobile phones are 9440066622? I mean, which service provider? How can I send SMS to these phones? And how can I send SMS to Hutchison mobile?

Besides the regular lanlines being operated by BSNL, you have Tata Indicom which offers cellular services, WLL lines and CDMA telephones. The number 55***** which you have mentioned is a Tata WLL line. You cannot send SMS to these phones. BSNL recently launched it\'s mobile service 9440*****. You can send an sms to these phones. Try sending a regular sms from ur mobile if possible. To send an sms to a hutch mobile, send an email...eg. 9885098850@south.hutch.co.in
Other than this , we also have Airtel which is a cellular service provider.
