Who can forget the PM reciting poetry while the Gujarat carnage was going on and he did not even utter a word till many weeks later he came out with the how can I show my face line. It is no surprise that his reply to the debate should be in the manner in which it was.

People in power say that govt. in Gujrat is democratically lected and has mandate of people. This position is a mischief.

Did these people in power sought the public mandate under the declared manifesto that once elected to power they would connive or stand silent spectator or allow massacre of the people ?

I watched the news and the discussion that was going on in the Parliament in disbilief. Acrimonious isnt the word for it. First Our Defense Minister George Fernades Ji - (Him of the Tehelka Scam fame ) seemed to justify Rape of Young girls in the presence of their mothers and the killing of foetusus ( excuses the typos) \'cause they have been happening long before Gujarat happened. May I remind Hon\'ble Fernandes Ji that never has it happened with the active participation and sponsorship of Chief Ministers and went on for so long. Then our Hon\'be Home Minister Advani Ji ( Him of the Babri Indictment and the - proven innocent therefore cleaner than thou - in Hawala ) Goes on in a pointless monologue about how painful it is for him to her about incidents prior to BJP rule. Then it is the turn of Atal ji ( he who was reciting poetry while minorities were being massacred, women being raped, children burn alive .... need I say more ) going on about his long and illustrous Political career and showing his intolerance for criticism ..... Give us a break. May we find out When Mr. Narendra Modi\'s Birthday is so we can have a Narendra Jayanthi - Because there must be something about the man we are all missing -- the whole ruling party and the NDA holds him in such high esteem !
