ImageQuake 3 Source Code Released



As expected, the full source code for Quake 3 is now available. The source code, available under the GPL license, can be compiled under Windows, Mac and Linux environments. The zip also includes the source code to Q3Radiant 200f.

Interesting, but it will take longer to get together the tools and compile this on Windows than it will take to do a STAGE 1 install on Gentoo. I'm not sure about the other OSes. Better to use the binaries.

For those who dont know abt craigslist (CL), its allows you to post ads about various stuff like selling ford escorts to contacting escorts. The community level ad posting allows easy and safe trading. CL became so famous that E-bay wanted to buy it at one stage. Unlike http://www.ebay.in where you end up paying commision to sell your stuff, CL is commision free. It gives new dimension to online shopping - post an ad, contact the person thru phone/mail and meet in person to finish the deal. Damn it, I should have been in marketting department of my company :lol:

There is a very active chapter of Free Software Foundation in AP. A Telugu version of Linux has been developed and released under the name of "Swecha" A multitude of applications are being ported into Telugu. If you wish to obtain a live CD modified over Ubuntu Warty, please contact any of the GLUGs (GNU/Linux User Groups) that are functioning in the several Engineering colleges.



Or please PM me and I will tell you how to obtain it if you are around Madhapur.
