Double Standards - Global

by DQ » Tue Aug 02, 2005 7:42 am

What better time than to start a discussion on Double Standards.

The death of a monarch, being mourned the world over. What does this speak of double standards.

The Muslim world prespective.

Most of the condolence messages from world leaders to the common muslim are that it is a great loss to the Muslim World - The Muslim Ummah etc etc.

How is it a great loss to Muslim ummah, I fail to understand, read the article below.

[url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4734505.stm]Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud is as a young prince, emerging from a casino on the French Riviera in the early hours of the morning, an actress on each arm.

The world sees you today as people of Double standards just because of this, you let Playboys assume the title of "Protector of Harmain".

You continue to allow those assume power who owe allegiance to treachery, deceit, Murder and are injust.

The Global Prespective.

The world leaders flowing in with their heart felt condolences to greive some one who has harboured the same ideology that has caused havoc in the world.

Man, whats up with you? There are so many other articles about the late king Fahd, praising him and his good works, and you HAVE to pick up one that talks a little more about his playboy history. What are you trying to prove? You seem to be extremely unidirectional in most of your posts.

"We share the pain of the Saudi nation over this great loss," Mufti Latifullah Hakimi, who claims to speak for the Taleban, told the Afghan Islamic Press.

[url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4734749.stm]GEORGE W BUSH, US PRESIDENT

King Fahd was a man of wisdom and a leader who commanded respect throughout the entire world. He was a friend and strong ally of the United States for decades.

And some one somewhere proposes that the muslim communities are "WALLED OFF"
