Hyderabad and secunderabad were called Twin cities of Hyderabad and secunderabad. There were times when Hyderabad was bigger than new citi Secunderabad in terms of area and population but with time more and more new colonies have emerged in secunderabad and it has grown with phenomenonal growth rate. Now it takes atleast 20 Km from Secunderabad Rly Station to come out of outskirts of Secunderabad. Particularly after Software boom, there has been sudden increase in number of people settling in secunderabd area. New city is clear favourite among software professionals. Boundaries continued to move and city was growing like there is no boundaries. may be in next few years Hyderabad may be subset of greater secunderabad.
