ok Ive landed myself a new job..the salary structure is quite basic...can u gimme some tips/advice on how my ctc can be strcutured to make it tax friendly (for me and not for the tax man)...
also I didnt really say much after taking the offer letter other than Id get back to them asap...can I go back to them and ask a 10% increase on what they have offered me..how do i actually do this...this might sound quite lame on my part but i am very bad at this kinda thing...or shud i ask my headhunter to negotiate on my behalf...Ive heard that Hr normally offer the lowest of the band they place you in and have a 10% leeway in these matters....

Your annual salary on paper should not exceed Rs 200,000/= so that u do not have to pay anything as income tax.
It is like this take away 100,000=00 as standard deduction
show savings of 100,000=00 for exemptions under various rules
thats all u need not pay anything as tax
