We have an abundance of medical shops. My gripe is not against the unavailability of medicine, but I'm peeved that the medicine shop wallas down shutters very quickly, while the paan thela wallas stay open till late in the night.

There should be a greater sense of responsibility if a person owns a medicine shop. It is not the matter of whether it is a 24 hr shop or not.

Not all medicine SHops are Round-The-Clock.Those attached with Big Hospitals

are mostly the 24 Hours Ones. And as for Smaller medicine shops go,they

have to return to their homes so that they can be back the next day to

serve the people.

I think there is no Rule saying that all medicine shops Should be open till

late night....

This thread is actually the result of pent-up frustration. I have some very lazy relatives and they always forget to buy medicine, so I have to run around the town hunting for an open pharmac. I pass atleast 10 closed shops before luck smiles...

In the meantime, all the paan shops are open.
