Strangest Things You Have Bought And Loved To The Hilt

by Lucifer » Sat Feb 26, 2005 11:31 pm

Okay, this thing that I recently got inspired me to come up with this thread. It looks like a sperm cell - a big nuclues and a huge tail. Only it is much much bigger - about a 10000 times. The nucleus in filled with water, and it is made entirely of rubber. With its tail you can dangle it or make it swing like a pendulum or play bounce the ball or do loads of other stuff. I am discovering a new use every day :).

The beauty of the thing is that it is absolutely useless, and it serves absolutely no purpose. But, it is great fun to play with!

Loved to play with it, lost my old one and can't find it in any store here :(
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Had this set of two mushrooms at my hostel room in university. While passing out, I handed them over to one of my juniors. My legacy stil lives!

OK. What is going to need clarification? The phrase 'loved to the hilt' or my mushrooms? For your good, I sincerely hope that it is the phrase. 'Cause if you have anything against my mushrooms...

PS: Those were simply thermocol mushrooms that I had made in my first year of engineering. Quite popular they were too.

it is light weight material usually in white color. used for insulation and packaging. may be you know it by another name mark. but its very common in packaging (used in place of bubble wrap)

Oh, I think thermacol (sp?) is something like styrofoam. White, and used is packing stuff like T.V's and heavy materials like that.
Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you pleased to meet me?

No, they are quite different. Styrofoam is that soft smooth flexible thing that a lot of these do-it-yourself electronics kits have. Thermocol is more used for the bigger stuff. But, yes, they serve a similar purpose.
