not for the eunuchs, its for the people !! hope that they will be less corrupt than the male or female politicians. thats the topic.

eunuchs are also citizens of india....and not foreign born...so whats the harm if they contest elections? they can even be a PM if suitable! all it needs is either a rule categorizing em as male or female, or creating a third legally recognized sex for them (imagine the havoc it wud create in software appls where sex is either "M" or "F"...another potential 'Y2K'!!!).

regarding corruption, since anyway most politicians are "moral eunuchs" (wow! i think i've coined a new term

) i dont think the actual eunuchs wud be any different.

Considering the info CtrlAltDel just put up looks like this may backfire. The eunuchs could also have the corruption of the male and female side so making them doubly corrupt. (this country will go to the dogs, if dharmendar doesnt drink their blood first :wink:

the hope is, not that they will totally be Saints....just that they will be less corrupt.......coz at the end of the day, they dont have a beta, beti....to give their wealth.........let them accumulate, let them be corrupt...how long can they accumulate wealth...they will possibly get bored....hope so....

"money and family". so, u dont earn for ur family? whom do u earn for ? yourself only, i am surprised !! did u come across a childless couple who try to mint money, you will hardly come across, they get tired and keep asking.........for whom?

i dont believe u 100% coz just a couple of weeks back i have seen a program on NGC or discovery dont remember abt India's first eunuch MP , Shabnam Mausi, my idea also originated from there, i have hardly seen any complaints from public...............do u have anything to say other than

.........same works for public servants and white elephants, coz they dont want these guys (?) to visit their office often......hope that they will turn to be hard working and less corrupt.

thats a kaafi old documentary u musta watched. after she was elected there was a flood of eunuchs contesting elections in MP. I was talking of a few eunuch corporators, who turned out to be as bad as their "fully-equipped" counterparts. they were all thrown out in the next election. I believe Shabnam mausi is nowhere on the political scene now...and the public seems to have forgotten him/her.

'u believe', 'must be old documentary', dont want to hear that dude....... i gave u my source..........ur source plz? go to google and type "India, MP, Eunuch" u get shabnam mausi from 2000. add the word corrupt to the key words, atleast, i did get a proper article !! quote an authentic source plz.....my point however remains, a person who doesnt have any offsprings is better as a politicians (eunuchs are better, coz others may claim that they dont have anybody but...u never know)

people talk when something happens for the first time, they need not talk abt it always!! now, they are not talking doesnt necessarily mean they are corrupt. infact they are not taking means, (s)he is less corrupt, coz when u have high expectations on someone and they fail to deliver....u talk abt them.....else u dont( when the job is being done)

no...if they dont talk about an MP, esp a famous one like this, just before elections, it is something serious. i never said S-Mausi is corrupt...i said he/she might not have done anything worthwhile that might explain the royal ignore he/she is getting now.

IF Atal is clean its coz of his principles...not coz he's single...even if married, he wud still be clean. these days politics is largely attracting scoundrels who want to get rich quick...be they single or married or eunuchs.

doing worthwhile is different and i didnt mention it anywhere, i am talking whether they are corrupt or not........therez a difference between the two.......u didnt say that Shanbam Mausi is corrupt, i agree, but said that others r corrupt...for that i am asking source............
