Ok. Screw pakistan. Those who love india and hate pakistan may post here.
 
 I actually support the formation of pakistan cuz most the weirdos and intellectually challenged Indians moved over there. so india has fewer problems than it would have actually had !!
 
 And those who OPPOSE the title \"pakistan murdabad\" surely know where their loyalties lie..

Hiya...I sure am chuffed about being Indian - the culture, the festivals, the weather, the places, the people - just about everything Indian!
 
 The ever increasing and ever improving knowledge base, a better GNI (2570 of India\'s as opposed to 1940 for pakistan), better per capita income ($460 for India and $420 for Pak) and better GDP ($330 bil for India versus $62 bil for pak) are only indicative of the statistics in India\'s favor, even if so very slightly.
 
 What is significant is that it illustrates efficiency of a nation of over one billion people, who spread themselves thin n still end up with their noses in front of their neighbor. Personally, I\'ve ever done any nation-bashing, so I\'m not sure if I shud pick today as the auspicious day for starting it....Nevertheless, it\'s for everyone to see that there\'s very little you can say about people whose collective wisdom is riddled with animosity and fear. I can\'t fathom how anyone can grow up with such passion for ill-will toward people who don\'t mean any harm to \'em. Even more alarming is how they can derive cheap-thrill by indulging in deception, under the guise of goodwill.
 
 Neways, I cud go on n on, but that wud be reducing to their level. The bottom line is - we are better people than \'em; Let\'s keep it that way.

Hey Archana,
 you seem to have this really deep-seated hatred for anything Pakistani. You must\'ve had some really bad experiences with Pakistanis to hate them so much. I\'m curious, what exactly happened to give rise to this animosity? I\'ve read your postings on other boards, and the reason for your dislike HAS to go beyond Pakistanis being scheming, smelly and lousy in bed. Sorry if I\'m being too nosy, but I\'m curious...

Just wanted to make a point..u use the same rhetoric as George Bush does in saying if ur against the title u know where ur loyalties are..just as he said ur either on the side of the Terrorists or with the US. Im no Pakistan supporter and a staunch Indian Patriot( i sometimes wonder if this is dues to lack of options,just by virtue of birth and familiarity that greatness, if i were born in USA, or Pakistan for that matter...id love Pakistan!!) but what id love to point out is...how would u greet a placard saying Hindustan Murdabad by a Pakistani..ud feel hurt..so will they, u may reiterate saying its not meant for them...but why should u ever say death be to the country...when the problem is limited to the crazy few on the top( and the guys who keep them there..the terrorists)..and like most indians...even the pakistanis want peace.PEACE OUT!! like Johny!!

This is so typical of ignorant people...and this is how ignorant and jahil people react..just blindly go about saying pakistan muradabad and stuff..its people like you who brew hatred instead of peace..you guys were saying in the other post that we should live by ghandi\'s example and stuff, i don\'t think Ghandi would have EVER said Pakistan Muradabad or any shit like that...look at how he was treated in South Africa, did you ever hear him say South Africa Muradabad?? I say that by making these exclamations and stuff, trying to think you\'re all big and bad by being a paki-hater doesn\'t do anyone any good and it just sorta shows your ignorance..I don\'t love pakistan or anything, im 100%indian, but i also realize that to have peace in the region means co-existing with Pakistan..pakistan is not going to go away or just disappear, so i say learn to live with them!

hey guys just back from a hectic business tour; my point is something new, being a secular strong muslim I have great regard for the people of Pak. but as far as the ruling elite, maan they suck / stink / rotten pigs. and listen to this they are only able to survive behind the shield of Kashmir, as soon as Kashmir is taken care of they will collapse like maska. believe me !!

Well, if you looked at my board, i said Pakistan AND India Zindabad, so please get ur fact straight before you go around accusing people of things..and yeah i mispelled gandhi\'s name, i agree to that..but just cuz I live in America doesn\'t mean I\'m confused..and if you hate desi people in America so much, then why the hell does almost every indian want to go to America or England, or abroad??Don\'t be hating us over in the US, or accuse of us of being not Indian enough just cuz we over here can get along with Paki people and you can\'t..I\'m not saying ALL Indians are like that over there, but the few of em like Archana.

hi guys..id like to add some to this..i personally think there are other rogue nations that did more harm to indian interests,economic prosperity and security and other aspects than pak ever did and ever would..pakistan is just a miserable failed state that doesnt need much attention other than waryness..
 
 so..we indians would do much better to explore other rogue states and their contribution to india\'s occasional bad state of affairs..cheers..

 What makes YOU confused is that every posting of yours seems to be only either in favor of Pakiland or in favor of the \"reunion\" that you fantasize about. East Germany and West Germany may have reunited but then the only thing separated is the wall which was broken down. Between India and Pakland, there is nothing common - except fundamentalist people like Osama\'s lads that you find in both countries.
 
 ChicagoDesi, how about saying something nice ONLY about India for a change instead of your single channelized mission to glorify Pakland by using your future fantasy of reuniting India and Pakland?

 Yeah its finals week and undergrad is quite difficult here, unlike what I have heard of univs in Hyderabad. I got to slog my butt to be on the Dean\'s List. So you don\'t expect me to monitor the messages every minute of the day. Moreover I have joined hyd rocks (started by Mayavi Morpheus) and I think people there are damn decent.

The reunification theory is very funny. I don\'t understand why ppl can be so naive as to live in utopian ideas. India & Pakistan reuniting is something that is virtually impossible at this point in time. Forget reunification....let\'s achieve peace on the border first.
 
 We cannot equate this with the 2 Germanys and the 2 Koreas reuniting. First of all, the basis of division in Germany was not on ethnic grounds. It was purely a political division. In Germany, even after the end of the cold war, people could cross from East Berlin to West Berlin without any great fuss. It was a process that used to take just under an hour. Finally, the border between East & West Germany was never as tense as ours.
 
 Compare this with the ethnic division that India went through. Crossing the border from India to Pakistan & the other way round is not child\'s play. Imagine the bureaucratic hassles you\'d have to go through to get across the border. And finally the border itself, which is still a bone of contention between the 2 countries.
 
 Why do I think the strife won\'t end? As simple as washing your hands. If the border problem is taken care of; the politicians at the helm lose out on a huge issue which is a mass vote-grabber (In India, its the biggest issue; in Pakistan, its the only one). And do you think today\'s political class is so upright and selfless to let go off this big a dynamite for national interests? I doubt if they even have an intention to bring an end to this whole headache, forget resolve.
 
 Some people might take offense to me calling this whole quagmire a headache. It\'s very easy for us armchair critics to brood over the sorry state of affairs but have we ever thought of the people living in the border areas? What have they done to deserve the current state in which they are existing? Its high time we realise the hollowness in the initiatives (sic) being taken up by the governments for creating a healthier relationship between the 2 countries.
 
 I think I should end ranting here or someone might end up giving me some of my own medicine.
