Admissions to Engg. Colleges!!

Hey folks!!! Can sumbody help me??? I am an NRI residing in the UAE. I have just given my twelfth boards n would like to do engg in Hyd. But I donno the rules... like u know the NRI thingy??? I know there\'s a diff quota for NRIs. But I donno the requirements. Plz help.

Neha, there are several books pulished... Or try it out on the Net. Just search engg. colleges... Every pvt college has an NRI quota - only the fees are a bit more. And govt engg. colleges do not generally have this quota.
Or if they do then there are some colleges with approved list. In most pvt engg. colleges u may get admission without a test on a NRI seat.

1. Shadan. 2. MJ 3. Deccan. are all good engg schools and they all have NRI programs. my view MJ is best situated.
you can go to their websites or write to them through your folks in hyd. or go visit them when you are actually in town for the admissions soon. all the best.!!

hey neha,
just wanted to add CBIT and MJIT to the list...the only criteria and rule is that u need to get 60% in your 12th to get an admission in NRI quota...no other hard and fast rules...good luck
