folks!!!ever wondered why is it that we have so much of attachment to a city we no longer live in??have been in lots of places in india but no one seems to have an affection to another city as this one...all the people i came across who have lived in this city at least once have very fond memories of this place...for instance how many people actually look up any other city site??i guess hyd is the only city which has some 88 sites on it...whats the magical charm??

I think the charm is in logic, Telugu guys are everywhere in the world. So, there are lot of Hyderabadies who miss Hyderabad than Bangalorians who miss Bangalore. I am not complaining, but the point is simple. 60% of US - GRE load from India comes from AP. Out of this exodus, i am sure a significant share is from tech-savvy Hyderabadies. When they leave this city its sites like these that serves as a bond!. I hope i am convincing

Ya, there might be as many hyderabdaies outside Hyderabad, as there are Bangs or delhites. But, since there are many Hydeabadies abroad, all these get added up and you have lotsa hyderabadis missing their home city!

Telugu guys are friendly called as golties. They are open - not cunning in behaviour, but stupid sometimes. They don\'t know what they do. They do things upside down. But still, I REPEAT, open type guys. the girls are beautiful. Anyway, hyderabad is still rural, but I am sure a friendly big rural city.

the best part of Hyderabad is that it has this semi-rural sorta atmosphere which makes it great homecoming. it\'s almost like the whole world evolved and hyd is in a time warp. i\'m not harping about it, but it\'s fun to come back toa time warp where people still call the newspaper \' paaaaaaaaaper\' and oil their hair in place. sighhhhh.
homeward bound.

Golti - thats a friendly name given to a cult which actually speaks english by thinking in telugu. This kind of species is commonly found in parts of United states. They are some sort of migatory ones, that return to homeland only on certain occations like marriage, engagement, homecoming, babe hunting, and certain trivial documentation purposes. They move in herds of about 100s during the peak season of August and september. A few of these are also obseved to migrate during the fall - winter session. This cult stays, just like they dwell in homeland. They live in a large group of 10 and don\'t live that well, as they communicate to their kith and kin in homeland. They modify they vernacular to suit the local conditions, but their adaptibilty more often ridiculed then scrutinised. They posses a high sex drive, which makes them feel that they have accomplished enough by migrating and the time has come for mating. The female counter part usually makes themselves available for purposes of mating and finding a newe, habitat in the environment of settlement of the male species. However the adjustibility factor of this species is best seen in the place of migration.

Saudi Arabia / Gulf : Sharing more than 70% of expats of true hyderabadi.,compare to US or Canada or any other state in the world.., in middle east they talk hyderabadi language and well known to all with their polite behaviour good manners and culture, the originality lies in their attitude and behaviour. The other day I met few US/Can-Hyderbadis and shocked when I noticed the younger generation of hyderabadis cant speak their mother language properly..not even 20% ..I wonder what will be the future of Western Hyderabadees after few decades. In gulf ya they still maintaining their originality and will remain same original Hyderabadi.
