Friends, Superstitious beliefs and myths have been an important aspect of life in India since ages unknown - irrespective of what religion you believe in. Through education and scientific enlightment quite a majority of our population have realized that there is absolutely no objective truth behind these beliefs. However we still see these kind of beliefs and myths prevalent in some places and people in this category are those who either wants to remain ignorant or those who just practice because it has been so deeply rooted in their blood that they cannot get out of it even if they wish. The fact remains that there is no truth in these things and these are the products and teachings of - dubious religious preachers, babas, gurus, charmers, soothsayers, fortune-tellers and all types of occultists who claim that they have developed their special powers through spiritual exercises, meditations etc..etc.. who are intelligent crooks who finds ever new tricks and methods of amassing wealth and thrive by cheating the credulous population . Although the acts of these hoaxers are as criminal as those of robbers, cheats, smugglers, blackmarketers and thieves, governments are reluctant to prosecute them because their practice is sanctioned by most religions. In a democracy where the majority of people are blind believers in religions, these hoaxers can carry on their trade of cheating with impunity: The only way out is to educate, enlighten and convince the ignorant masses that there is absolutely no truth in these practices and in the claims of these hoaxers. It is indeed a very long and uncertain journey – Wish India Good Luck.
