i have seeen boards in the old city which say kaliyani biryani......why wld a moghlai dish have a hindu name?

No othr place othr than sohail which serves gud or evn decent biryani ther is one more Cafe called SHAMS near moosrambagh but nothin special abt it .....................(the sweet pan ther is awesome)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the places where I liked the Biryani was at Farooq's. The Biryani is slightly on the spicier side, but it tastes awesome.

Hyd Biryani

I had recently been to HYD after long time. I coundn't visit many restuarants, but I want to mention a few of them where I liked the Biryani. I tried in Paradise (use to be my favourite). It was OK, not great. Astoria in RTC X roads is serving very good, stomach full biryani. THere is Abhilasha that is quite opposite to Astoria (next to Sandhya Theater) is serving a decent Biryani. There is one in Lakdi-ka-pool called Fish Land serves a very good Fish Biryani.

Abbe...Farooq is that andewaala in Ahmedabad. You talking about Furqan methinks.



Having said that, Farooq's ande would beat Furqan biryani anyday.
